Multicultural Health Brokers Cooperative

The Multicultural Health Brokers  (MCHB) is a social enterprise cooperative supporting immigrant and refugee families in Edmonton since 1994.

The Multicultural Family Resource Society (MFRS) evolved out of MCHB in 2005 as a complementary organization that would serve the same vision and values but with its structure as a registered non-profit and charitable organization.

Working as sister organizations, MCHB and MFRS embrace a collaborative practice rooted in cultural brokering and aimed at an inclusive intercultural Edmonton. The two organizations' unique structures and collaborative working relationships strengthen each other's capacity to serve immigrant and refugee families holistically.
