We could not do what we do without the invaluable support of many volunteers. Volunteering with MFRS has been a rewarding experience for our many volunteers who want to make a difference in their community and deepen their experience working with multicultural families. in 2015, we served over 40,000 participants supported by 447 volunteers, who contributed 27,833 hours of their time and knowledge.
“The reason why I chose to volunteer [with MFRS] is because this parenting program is very good for my children development. I did gain a lot of info from children's activities and health presentation. And so I'd like to share my time and my experience with other families. I am really enjoying this opportunity being here.” Parent Volunteer
We offer volunteer opportunities to both youth and adults. Volunteer opportunities include committee work, research, program support, and outreach.
Bringing awareness to MFRS and engaging and growing our support community is a priority for MFRS and there are many ways for you to help.
Program volunteers are recruited from members of the targeted communities, students assigned to MFRS, personnel from associated orgs etc.
From graphic design to research and writing, there are many professional skills that would contribute greatly to the advancement of the MFRS vision.
